Long John's Sandwich Shop - Morristown

I grew up in Morristown and don't live there anymore. When I go through the area at noon, you can bet I'm going to Long John's. Place is a timewarp. It looks like I'm a kid. And what's even better, the sandwiches bring me back in time. They still taste the same. As brilliant as I remember. I personally am a fan of number 7. This place is not much to see how it looks old and dated, but the sandwiches rock. Hold your Jersey Mike's, hold your subway, give me Long John's!

Best sandwhich shop in Morristown. If I could I'd fly home weekly to have one. My hometown favorite!

I’m heading to this little off-the-beaten-path sub shop, and it’s definitely worth the trip! The bread is always fresh, and the cold cuts are fantastic. What stands out the most is their consistency; I’ve never had a bad sandwich in ten years. If I were ever stuck somewhere and could only go to one place, this would be it. The lack of atmosphere adds to its charm—it's like stepping into a 1960s Jersey diner with its unique vibe. I do wish they would heat the bread, but even so, the place is a gem. Forget Subway!

The sandwiches here are excellent and incredibly affordable. It has a classic, nostalgic vibe that takes me back. I still remember getting a sub for field trips back in elementary school. What a delightful experience!
