Recent visits to a local restaurant reflect a blend of experiences. While some patrons faced disappointment when they discovered the establishment was permanently closed despite their reservations, others enjoyed incredible meals on subsequent visits. The food received high praises, especially dishes like seafood lasagna and truffle gnocchi, complemented by attentive service. Though some noted a crowded atmosphere and rapid service, the flavorful offerings, including a standout vegetarian menu, made it worth the splurge. Fortunately, nearby alternatives, such as Olive Lucy's, rescued those affected by the closure, showcasing the community's culinary resilience.
We showed up for a reservation. The restaurant was boarded up and closed for business. Whatâs worse is I made the reservation only a few days in advance, how did Open Table not know it was closed?
A poor experience since we were not able to try it. The restaurant is permanently closed and was actually being renovated when we went to the establishment for our reserved time! No notification from Opentable and we were not stopped from making a reservation. This is not a good reflection on Opentable. Fortunately, we were very lucky to get in to Olive Lucyâs for dinner (shout out to Steve really saved the evening for us

We arrived for our 7pm reservation, only to find that the restaurant was closed and boarded up. I had made the reservation just a few days earlier, so I was surprised that Open Table had not informed us that the restaurant was closed.
We had a negative experience as we were unable to dine at the restaurant. The establishment was permanently closed and undergoing renovations when we arrived for our reservation. We did not receive any notification from Opentable and were able to book a table despite the circumstances. This was disappointing and does not reflect well on Opentable. However, we were fortunate to find a table at Olive Lucy's for dinner thanks to Steve, who saved the evening for us.
