Just walked out of here without being acknowledged or served at their rooftop bar (at 1:30 Monday afternoon. I had planned to sit at the bar and grab lunch and a beer- something I’ve done a few times before, likely won’t again. My disappointment is that the two ladies behind the bar weren’t busy, just standing there talking not about work but personal stuff- watched me sit at their bar and proceeded to ignore me. I was one of two people at the bar top. No greeting. No welcome. After a couple of minutes of them continuing to ignore me while they kept chatting I got up and left. They kept talking while they watched me leave. Hilarious. I walked over to the Red Rocks Beer Garden and had lunch and a beer there instead.
Service was slow, food was average and over priced. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Delicious food with great ambience. The outdoor dining is set up nice with lights and vines.
The food here was incredible! If that’s the only measurement of the review it would be 5 stars. The service and time to get our food was a huge issue. Our waitress sat us and told us that she is also the bartender so our drinks would take a while. We ordered 3 beers and they eventually came out. As we ordered food the waitress was busy trying to talk to her friends? Another table? We weren’t sure, but she was distracted. The food took over an hour to come out without the waitress telling us it would take that long. The big issue was with the bill. Before she brought us the bill she said “that other table just stiffed me a tip. I just lost my nanny job today, and they said ‘if you’re as bad of a nanny as you are a waitress, I see why you got fired.’” It was a very awkward thing for her to say. We asked for it to be split and she charged us and our friends for the neighboring table? And she didn’t know how to reverse charges and charge us the correct amount. She then got mad at US for asking her to fix it. I left with my two young kids, because it was well past their bedtime. But my husband said that the manager came and handled it. We will see what our credit card says. I’m so sad it was such a horrible experience.
We ate very delicious! I would return Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
