One time we had a special meal with our friends who live there, and the food was fantastic, we couldn't fault it. The owners are lovely and down to earth. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. It gets busy in the evenings, so arrive early if you want a cozy meal.

One evening, we had a speci... read more Even though we did not stay at the Hermitage (we rented a wonderful cottage in town), we dined and enjoyed drinks at the restaurant. One evening, we had a special meal with our friends who live nearby, and the food was excellent - we couldn't find any faults. The owners are friendly and approachable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. The restaurant gets very busy in the evenings, so it's best to go early if you prefer a leisurely dining experience.
