I live near by and have been here a few times to get a decaf iced latte; it is one of the few places that has a nice decaf (I find some have an odd taste . All the staff are really friendly too : View all feedback.

I have been having breakfast and morning coffee here every time I drop my wife off and I'm extremely happy with the quality of coffee and food. The owners are extremely attentive and polite! I have had quite a few conference meetings from my laptop here post breakfast and I was always very well looked after with sparkling water and was attended to and left alone when needed.<br/ <br/ <br/ The quality of coffee has never disappointed nor any of the meals. Cycling friendly as well which is a nice touch.
Overlooked this café since I visit my chiropractor once a month just across the road. It was a cool Sunday morning. Dropped in and welcomed by the friendly smiles from the owners. Ordered my flat white and banana bread and took a seat at the far end of the dining area so I can observe how they prepare my brekkie. Within a short period of time, the lady owner approached my table and presented my cup of coffee with a glass of sparkling water. Wow, very rarely to have a café serving diners with free sparkling water what a bonus! Coming after was the banana bread presented with a wooden broad. Icing on top of slides of warmed banana bread just like snows on the mountain. The bread was thick with spongy texture and matching well with the thin slices of butter with traces of salt. Obviously, I can feel the passions from these people who really know how to run an eatery. No wonder there was a gang of cyclists sitting at the table next to me. I am sure that it is another successful business....
We love this place! Time and time again the coffee is great and the food delicious. The home made breakfast tart is awesome, and eggs Benny is perfect! The owners provide such genuine, personalised and friendly service can't fault!
“It’s not just another coffee”. The sign above the door says it all. I love trying out a new cafe discovering another favourite little gem! Eclipse is small but it’s everything your local cafe should be, committed owners who understand the value of great customer service treating their customers like kings. I sense this is a family run business, which actually sets the positive tone, there is a very relaxed friendly vibe to this small cafe. You are greeted warmly on arrival farewelled on your exit, it’s not difficult to do, but it creates that all important point of difference. You have the option of still or chilled sparkling water which is located in big blue red buckets in the alfresco dining area, another nice touch! The food was fresh, delicious, plated beautifully. Their menu is small but it definitely covers all the “go to” favourites. They offer gluten free, no GM, plant based smoothies vegan options. Do check out the “specials menu” white board, which is located to the right of the counter. But, it’s more than the food coffee which made me select 5 stars, it’s their positive attitude, customer care value which goes into the dining experience. I observed a regular customer ordering his takeaway coffee, his dog seemed very excited it all made sense when the cafe owner grabbed a few dog treats from a large jar. Even the dogs love the special VIP customer treatment Eclipse!!

Large coffee and very tasty eating, served fresh and easy to donate. eating is enough of simple sbnacks to eat and run, or munch on-the-go, to sit, full breakfast and lunch. the eclipse in the morningside has a huge sequence that shows the quality and consistency of the drinks and food of this shop.
Service here was very attentive we were provided with sparkling water straight away (nice touch we thought as it was a scorcher today Coffees came out with great strength nicely presented, just a tad on the luke warm side though (we ordered extra hot Breakfast was very good -house beans had lots of chunky onions, heirloom tomatoes great flavor, but as usual I would have enjoyed some chilli through it. I probably should have asked, but we were in a hurry as I had to go into town later. Partner enjoyed the corn fritters, light fluffy with copious amounts of corn, they were served with a huge mound of bacon so the pooch was happy with that!!!
If your in the morning area definitely come in and try the coffe and food.... amazing coffee and food especially the eggs benny with fantastic service Will definitely be back next time i am in the area.
Al and his associates have everything on the square, big coffee and beautiful bites with a laid back and care service to eat.
