Came here on a Sunday night as we always see ads for it off Facebook. Below average... You get what you pay for but some flavour would be nice. I got the $16 Reef & Beef which literally had no marinade or seasoning, the chips were plain unsalted. One of these restaurants where they go again and again, although it is not so great. in the rule only on a Monday evening for the chicken parmi. last was room temperature, so I wasn't too impressed, but it's cheap. $12:50. would not recommend a party.
This place has a really nice setup. Ive been coming for years and the food is somewhat hit and miss. However, I tend to stick with the specials now so won't complain about food given what I pay for it. I will however complain that for a place that people come and drink at (esp leading into Xmas), they should really make an effort to keep the kitchen open. There has been several occasions where I've arrive for a drink and maybe some snacks..Only to be told that the kitchen is closed...9 o'clock...8:30pm...Today I saw the manager turn away 3 customer wanting to order dinner. What a disappointment for people...at 8:30pm 3 days before Xmas where people want to go out and chill? Seriously...
I had the Angus Rump steak and tasted like an old rubber boot. Tasted like garbage. It also took 25-30 minutes to get my meal and everyone else at the table had finished theirs. For $28 i would expect it should be half decent at least.
The bartender dame 40 ish dark haare was extremely rude, not only for us, but notice rudely to other people. if you have a bad day keeping it out of work. made us very uncomfortable, so we went without ordering food.
Previously I recommend to all my friends and my family very two hundredth and have supported this restaurant since the first day. but I will not come back after the last two experiences, tonight the worst so far. tonight's experience burnt steak (cooked medium) during my visit we bought this evening the $19 surf and turf. the outside of the steak was burned as they had tried to flame the steak, but instead it had to burn, so the most unpleasant taste. the soße could not even mask how burned it tasted. desert with BICARB/SALT our group of 3 bought the sticky date pudding.
