I love restaurants with lots of natural light, and Two40three has that. Had a relaxed Sunday lunch there this weekend. The 'reef and beef ' lunch special was a very generous size for $16. I had the grilled barramundi with mash and salad and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were lovely and helpful.
Consistently nice place to visit. Food never disappoints, and the staff are friendly although there seems to be have been a lot of changes lately. They do some fantastic deals, and the ambience is that of a relaxed bar, where you can spend time with family and friends and not feel the need to move on. Thanks to the manager for letting us watch the soccer game. We have been going there for the past 3 years and will continue to do so. I work in a restaurant and have had some not so nice experiences with pub meals and surly staff but this is not one of these places! Thanks guys.
This restaurant is the ideal spot for a meal just around the corner. I'm a frequent visitor for their chili muscles, which could easily feed a family. Even between just two of us, we end up stuffed from the generous portion. At just $26 for both of us, you can't beat that deal!
This restaurant features a lovely and fresh decor, and we particularly enjoy the outdoor seating area, which is the main reason we return. The weekly food specials also offer great value.
The food was above average, and the prices and atmosphere were quite reasonable. The lunch specials were particularly appealing, with noodle stir-fry priced at $12.50 and a steak special for $15. Those prices are hard to beat. While I didn't mind the unstable chairs, the salad being more of a garnish than a side dish, or the mushroom sauce resembling a basic supermarket gravy, I was hoping for perfectly cooked steak. And I got exactly that! The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and medium rare, which was fantastic. The chips were also pretty good, especially for just $15. The stir-fry had a Western twist to it, with a nice amount of cashews and chicken. Personally, I wasn’t a huge fan of the stir-fry, but everyone else seemed to enjoy it, and that’s what really matters. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely return!
