Who would've thought that this fantastic little family run cafe would serve food worthy of a place in some of the better known restaurants in Perth? Greeted personally by the chef to order, he promised the food would be good. True to his word I cannot fault the dishes were were served. I had the Diverso Chicken, a tender breast of chicken pan fried with prawns, mushrooms, peppercorn creamy sauce served with mixed vegetables & mashed potatoes at an incredible $24.90 and he had a good sized, beautifully cooked Scotch Fillet Steak served with mash or chips & salad at $23.90. Do yourself a favour drop in any day for any meal, you won't regret it. We will be back.

The original Italian owners sold out some time ago to a Nepalese family group who have kept mostly the original menu. The place is quite basic and the menu not extensive but the prices are very reasonable; more so if you choose from the daily specials. They have an all day breakfast which is highly recommended.  Likewise the pizzas are rated good. The steak sandwich with scotch fillet is excellent and good value.  On one occasion I had a lamb shank which was perfectly done and accompanied by nice vegetables and beautiful gravy.  On this occasion I went for one of their specials of the day, chilli mussels.  I was asked what degree of heat I required and I played safe by specifying medium.  This dish was perfect - a large mound of mussels with a scrumptious chilli, garlic, tomato and onion based sauce along with fetta cheese.  It was accompanied by a generous serve of garlic bread. The day's price was $13.95 - a bargain.  You could pay 2 - 3 times this price in Perth and still not have a dish as good. On top of this the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. It is BYO but corkage is no charge! Highly recommended for a tasty economical meal at any time - they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Wed - Sun.

Ordered the BIG brekkie and it was the smallest most tasteless big brekkie ever. Will definitely be steering clear in the future.
