the perfection of the crêpe or almost: that local and organic products, well cooked, it feels right away! pleasant and relaxing welcome, "indoor state" atmosphere to the kitchen. We don't want to go! View all feedback.
What Gabrielle Hubert doesn't like about Creperie Ty Bihan:
we arrived at 3:45 p.m. but the service was over (normally it's 4 p.m., but it's possible to drink a drink or eat an ice (?) I think it's complicated to eat somewhere in the bream outside noon and night. Nothing open, except fast food. It's the fault of the state tells me the waitress. I'd like to admit that the loads are very high but why kebabs and snacks are open (less charges can be?) I'm just calling it to get t... View all feedback.
Ty Bihan was recommended to us by the owner of Hotel du Port. it is a small establishment specialising in Biologique Foods, i.e organic, our initial impressions were favourable but the meal when provided was a little disappointing because we found the galette base was...too leathery for our taste. The filling and accompaniments were however very good. Suzy bravely ordered another galette in a different town a few days later and the difference was marked, she pronounced the second one as excellent
I am English and I am travelling alone, walking through northern Brittany. For the last few days I have been drenched to the bone, I have blisters on my feet and all my bones ache constantly. I walked into Creperie Ty Bihan and was immediately...greeted by smiling hosts. The fact that I am English was no problem as they spoke very good English. There was an English menu and the food was fantastic. Wanted to say a very big thankyou to these people for showing me some fantastic hospitality and selling me beautiful food!
Local, mostly organic, good wines, good music, very nice personnel. It is tiny and you might not even notice it, but look for it because it is totally worth it. The best meal for the price in this city for me.
Whilst I'm normally a little sceptical about places that heavily emphasise their green credentials, this charming creperie in the centre of Morlaix could easily convert me. Delightful owners and staff presented a menu very much more interesting than the standard crepe and most with a...strong regional emphasis. This is one of those places where you almost get a mini meal with your crepe but on the basis of those we tried their interpretations work rather better than some others. I can't see how it could have been much better, really. We very much enjoyed our lunch here and will return.
Visited the town of Morlaix as staying nearby in carantec. First family holiday in France, next to no French speaking. Made to feel very welcome and the gentleman serving us was very helpful, even supplying English menus. We wanted to experience authentic French crepes and...we had lots of choice, we even tried one with a tripe sausage filling. The kids had sweet filled ones, which they all loved. All in all a very pleasant dining experience. My husband sampled the local cidre in the traditional tea cup. Worth a visit.
