The extremely eloquent waiter spoke to us in ordering apperitive and more, but it was super beautiful. I took Zurich’s G’schnetzeltes, a classic and was more than satisfied. Fish is a good choice there. Go for the locals from Lake Biel. Thanks for the afternoon.

Lake v... read more After numerous stays in Switzerland I came to trust the Swiss leader “Fischelin” when I look for fish restaurants with nice food and pleasant atmosphere. Lake view is a large restaurant with very fresh fish in a cozy and relaxed environment. Tables at the window have a beautiful view over the lake. The service tells two stories. On one side smiling and friendly. On the other hand, the service was very slow: the whole dinner lasted 2.5 hours! I guess the restaurant is almost full this evening, but the waiting time was still inappropriate. On a positive note I really enjoyed the food both in quality and in quantity. The menu focuses on seasonal products and fish from the lake. As a starter I chose the asparagus salad with tomato vinaigrette: tasty and generous. As the main course I had the chief suggestion: trilogy of fish (white fish, bark, pike perch) served with asparagus and mousseline sauce. Perfectly prepared, good and generous. As sweet I pampered with a delicious mousse au chocolat. On the bottom, Switzerland always had a high price structure, and Seeblick is no exception. The invoice amounted to CHF89 I consider it to be slightly expensive, as the excellent food is discharged through a very slow service.
