What Alain Herzog doesn't like about Aux Delices du Lac:
Effectivement endroit dépaysant. Sauce à salade très bonne. De même pour les frites et la sauce tartare. Dommage que la friture de perche était trop sèche. Nous faisait penser au poisson séché. Accueil très sympa. Des chats sautant sur les tables, le comptoir, dans la cuisine ..... View all feedback.
After we read a Raving review that called this place (and the fried perch) “Magical”, we tried several times to reserve a table. to no avail. always fully booked; lunch and dinner alike. when luck was finally on our side, the expectations were high. while the...Welcome was warm and the location really idyllic – right on the water and next to the owner fischerboot – the establishment itself looks down and is in desperate need of a rejuvenator. remember, this is not a typical restaurant, but a simple fisherman's chef with a kitchen and a few tables before. but exactly the same, it looks all quite wrong and not very neat. over, eat, while the habitable cat licks clean the dirty dishes on the kitchen counter – and then jumps on her table to taste the (delict) ice – is not appetizing at all. judge: it was there and done, but “magical” it was not!

This tiny restaurant located directly on the shore of the water near the harbour is located in a fishing village. it only has about five tables. the menu and the wine list are very limited. the family it operates are fischer and have a small load on the back. where you can buy mousse de féra fume (domestic mousse from féra,) terrine de brochet (pike terrine) and féra fumée à froid (féra cold smoked). also fresh fish depending on what they caught. the menu is a plate friture de perches, (fried small perch) with fries and salad. local artisanal ice cream and sorbet are available as desert. this situation is only for people who like simple uncomplicated lunch. it is not wise and the views are fabulous. the wine list consists of white, rosé and red from chateau de vufflens only on the road: cheap we were now three times there and love it. the last time, (mai 12) three of us had eat, three half bottles of wine, ice cream and coffee for chf 150. parking spaces are available near, as well as clean public loos. they should book before going.

We spent the morning doing what no sane person does on a Saturday: visiting Ikea. Following that, this is just the place to unwind: quiet, fabulous view and excellent value for money. Mousse of smoked Fera, tiny fried perch and chips washed down with the local white from Chateau de Vufflens. To beguile us further a swan was nesting right in front of the window. After that, a quick visit to the Tulip festival in MorgesWhat more can you ask?
