The food... read more We ate at the Heritage in January of 2022 then decided on them as our rehearsal dinner for our wedding at French Creek Golf Club. They were incredible! The food was great and Tamara, the head chef and all of the staff did such an excellent job.Appetizers were out shortly after we arrived even though we were early and food did not take long to come out at all even thoughwe were a party of 35. We decided on a cash bar and the servers did a great job maintaining individual checks that were easilypaid via QR code at the end of the night. We then returned for brunch on Saturday which was also excellent. Highly recommendthis resturant!

Driving along the Pennsylvania Turnpike we saw a sign for Heritage Restaurant. We did a quick Google search, it looked good, do we spontaneously gavebit a shot.... read more Driving along the Pennsylvania Turnpike we saw a sign for Heritage Restaurant. We did a quick Google search, it looked good, do we spontaneously gavebit a shot. We sat at the bar. We noticed how clean the bar area was. Service was prompt and cheerful. Beerwas cold and the food was very good. Each dish appeared to be prepared with pride; not just bar food, deep fried, thrown on aplate and dropped in front of you. We were very happy with our spontaneous stop at Heritage Restaurant.

Addition... read more They really need a new chef; I could have cooked better than this! There were no herbs, spices, or any attempt at flavor. How can you mess up a Reuben? Additionally, one of the waitresses seemed to be racially biased, as she kept staring at us, which made me and my husband uncomfortable. Another family entered the restaurant and they were seated up front, which added to the weird atmosphere since it was just the two of us. I felt somewhat racially profiled by one of the waitresses. Another waitress walked by us, looked down, and then quickly walked away. I don't know what that was about, but it felt strange. Overall, the $50 was not worth it. I felt like I should have been compensated for dealing with the situation, especially with the flies!
