Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Morgantown

Husband and I have his birthday dinner today. The gentleman who has made our steaks has done amazing work to rarely meditate them. Thick, juicy and tasteful. My shrimps were right. Not too hard. The cheesecake should die! Our waitress, Alex had a wonderful personality. She was a real professional who did her job. Very impressed and we will be worth the money!

The food was good and as expected at a Golden Corral. The waiting staff and the chefs were very friendly and hard working. Our waitress was Suzette and I informed her about an article on the buffet and she took care of it even though I'm sure it wasn't her responsibility. The manager seemed about things and addressed needs as they emerged. A neighboring table ordered an omlette, but let the manager know that it wasn't what they expected and the manager immediately addressed the problem. My daughter didn't even have to ask for cotton candy as she went to the server, she was ready and gave it to her when she approached the counter.

Good selection of foods, but some of the foods were too long and unusable. Like the prefabricated burgers... just terrible. Not sure if they were fresh when I asked, but I really shouldn't ask for fresh food. The same applies to several others... they have to follow better what went out when and replace the old things. It seemed like they had a lot of burgers and chopped roasts, I wasn't brave enough to taste the meat. The chocolate fountain looks good, but it's not chocolate. I have no idea what it is, but it's evil! Now the ice and most of the other deserts were great, even if they were finished, soaked up and served... Overall, it was a good visit. Could it have been better, of course, and it should have been really better... but it's what it is... Tip: Avoid You the "chocolate fountain" as it is NOT chocolate!

Honestly should have drive the extra hundred yards and ate at Texas Roadhouse. From the beginning it was bad. You had to walk through the smokers pit just to get in the building. Then was greeted by a not so happy server who didnt want to be there. A manger was walking around in an untucked dress shirt and had an argument with another customer about them being out of chicken. The food was terrible including the new fajitas. The desert tasted store bought. The salad had brown lettuce. However the meat lovers pizza was delicious, I would say the third best I've had, and that's the only reason why they recieved a 2 instead of 1 star. They need some better employees that care about what they serve to include the management.

I had nothing to do with a positive experience. The excellent food remains as high as on the big opening day. It was always hot, fresh and delicious, every time we visited. We were also welcomed and properly addressed. We have always received an impeccable service from all employees. Including the talented young man on the front grill, he took our special cooking orders on skill for our steaks and makes them perfect every time.
