However, I noticed that a new employee at the front could use some improvement in social skills and training. One issue I encountered was that the food often sits in the window for a while, making it difficult for the front staff to retrieve it promptly. When you ask for your order, the new staff tends to list out names randomly, which doesn't help. It’s important for them to stay aware of what you’ve ordered and your ticket number at the front.

My mother enjoyed her grilled chicken but mentioned that once you've tried one grilled chicken, you've tried them all (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). I thought the fries could use something extra; we dipped them in Zaxby’s sauce to make them more flavorful. Otherwise, they were quite bland on their own. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Overall, it was a nice visit!

The food was nasty, the service was slow and the store smelled like they clean up with dirty rags. I ordered the wings and things but could not eat it.The smell in the store was so nasty and the air was not clean inside at all. The store smelled liked dirty dish rags. And the funnel cake I ordered smelled like chicken.I ordered online while I was outside, waited about 10-15 minutes. Went inside to get my order it still was not ready, so I went back to the car because to wait because I could not take the smell. Came back about 5 minutes later and got my food. The plastic around the inside of the drink machine where the drink comes out was DISGUSTING. And the counter where the straws and things were was disgusting. The ketchup packs had dry ketchup all over them, I had to get some from behind the counter.When I got back in the car my food was Lukewarm. No where near just being cooked so I'm not sure what they was doing while I was SUPPOSEDLY waiting for my food to get done.I was scared to eat my food because I feel like it was just sitting there or it was old because it didn't having any type of hotness to it, not to mention it smelled like the inside of the building.I was so angry 14 dollars down the drain. I was going to take it back but I didn't even want to go back inside that store. It's not like me not to want what I paid for but , umm no thank you, they can have the 14 dollars.Maybe they can use the $14 to buy some new dish rags... I do not recommend this place. I can't believe I'm saying this, I love Zaxby's, but the one here in Morganton is TERRIBLE!! ???

I couldn't even eat my food after with 20 minutes on lukewarm food and a funnel cake that smelled like CHICKEN. The smell inside turned me off and I wasted my whole plate and a whole $14. I do not recommend eating there because it doesn't look or smell very sanitary. The soda machine was disgusting, the ketchup packs had dried ketchup on them. It was very nasty. I would have went back in and got my money back because I couldn't eat it but I just didn't want to smell it anymore.. I threw my whole plate away.
