I tried three beers which were good but, I didn't find a favorite among them. The popcorn machine is a huge plus and one that I find missing too often from breweries BUT, the popcorn was stale and burnt which defeated my joy of eating free salty popcorn which makes me want to stay longer and drink more beer. Outside food is welcomed; two and four legged children friendly.

Whole place is clean, great atmosphere and a temperate environment on a summer's day. Only furthering their atmosphere, they've got pinball in the back! The owners/operators are great people too, even putting the business aside. Worth your dollar! Stop there and have a drink some time!

Went to Sidetracked last night for a date night and we had alot of fun it was a perfect evening!Bought a Greenway special from Greenway Pizza and brought it to... read more Went to Sidetracked last night for a date night and we had alot of fun it was a perfect evening!Bought a Greenway special from Greenway Pizza and brought it to Sidetracked for dinner.The bartender was very nice and personable and he suggested an excellent beer. We ate our pizza and listened to 80s music from the jukebox.Afterwards we played a few games of trouble, my wife beat me 2 games to 1, then played a couple of games of Pac Man. We finished the night looking at the different things people have written and drawn on the 101 Jenga blocks that are on the tables.We learned Sidetracked has beefed up the calender with activities almost every night. We are looking forwards to trivia night on Thursday nights. The bar tender also told us they 're adding more food trucks to the schedule.There is plenty to do and it made for a perfect date night!!We told my daughter and her boyfriend about our experience. They live in Boone and they 're big fans of the different breweries in town with Appalachian Brewery, AB, being their favorite. They 're excited to try Sidetracked and are coming down in the next few weeks to go with us.My wife and I go out to eat Mexican every Friday night and we plan on suggesting bringing our Mexican food there... could be the start of a new Friday night tradition.With Catawba closing I think people will enjoy a change and Sidetracked will not disappoint. All I have to say is for those looking for something different PINBALL!!My suggestion is give Sidetracked a try, you may find it to be a new place to go to!
