We went to Applebee's on Friday night and had the best food and service we've ever experienced there. Jessica, our waitress, was excellent! She was not only incredibly friendly, but she checked in with us just the right amount and paid attention to every detail of our meal. The burgers and chicken we ordered were also delicious. Food was aweful. Salad barely had any lettuce in it and was standing in dressing. French onion soup had such consisted of a big piece of cheese and soggy bread. Caesar salad had no flavor. I would not recommend this place to anyone. View all feedback.
The entire meal was awful. The steak was undercooked, and the broccoli appeared to have some sort of debris in it. I paid $48 for a meal that I couldn't even eat. Unfortunately, I had no success discussing the issue with the staff.
I ordered the combo platter. The mozzarella sticks were not very warm, more on the cold side. The server was friendly and accommodating.
We had a bad experience at Applebee's in Morganton. We went there to pass the time and have a snack. I ordered the waffle fries with liquid cheese, but the cheese was terrible. When I sent it back, the waiter argued with me before taking it to the kitchen without asking if I wanted something else. The manager later came by to argue with me and mentioned that they sell a lot of them. She eventually removed it from the bill, but only after some discussion.
The manager, Mike, was fantastic!
The food was fantastic! Our server, McKenzie K., was outstanding. She really went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed.
