that's my local bar when I'm in italia, and I've known her since my childhood. this is the center of san michele, a small mountain village south of piacenza. Long after the august tourists have left, this place is still the local. the latest owner has worked hard to improve the place, and they can be guaranteed an excellent coffee and good local wee.
