I haven't been there in at least 3 years last time I was there it was great beyond description during this visit I observed lots of trash on the floors of the food prep area dirty utensils on the grills The grills were dirty or not cleaned off many items were sitting in areas with non-refrigeration The individual behind the register seem to be the only one trying to maintain the entire eating area. 5pm on a Sunday: they were missing a few key ingredients/components (like, completely out) from their staple items but still charged full price.
This cafe rio restaurant is the best I have ever been to. The food is consistently awesome, workers are professional and friendly and the manager does a fantastic job on all facets of the business. Freda, the manager, is always on top of everything and ensures quality food and service. Additionally, she makes you feel like family when you go there. I have been going to this establishment twice a week since the start of covid, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Food is not what it used to taste like. Portions are smaller.
Online Order. Disappointing and a rip off. With how expensive these meals have gotten, they should be giving you the right portion. Ordered a salad with extra pollo asado. Now, this is the second time they give me so little chicken and not the extra portion that i paid for!!!! and to top it off, the chicken is chopped down so much, it 's like chicken crumbs. And they keep forgetting to put the melted cheese on the tortilla. Whoever is making these needs to be retrained and please stop chopping the chicken down so small. Second time in 2 weeks that this happens. Never going back!!!
I want to give a shout out to Michelle. This was my first time at this location and I was welcomed by her smile and she was kind enough to explain the menu and recommended me a few items as well. The rest of the staff was also very kind. I very much would return to this location and the quesadilla I ordered was super bomb! 5/5
