View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Aldaba:
He venido varias veces. View all feedback.
This restaurant is situated in the beautiful Casa Grande Hotel in the center of Morelia. My spouse, a friend and I went looking for a rooftop terrace from which to look at the city and eat dinner. The location is good. Unfortunately, that is all that was good about it. Heriberto sat us down at a table near the front with no obstruction. He served us well until he brought the bill with a discrepancy. The first problem was from what appear to be a rookie supervisor, Marcos, who placed a table for other customers right in front of us. The customer actually asked him to move the table so that it did not block our view. The manager never came to apologize or check on us until when we were waiting for the bill. My spouse food, the tenderloin was not eatable. It was cold, not cooked to specification. After returning the dish, it came back more cooked but still cold. Heriberto suggested another dish, which my spouse chose. My rigatoni was undercooked (less than al dente) and insipid and dry. Finally, when the bill came, the tenderloin showed and the newly ordered tacos did not. I had to ask Heriberto to make the correction when he should have caught the error. The manager Marcos came by to ask how everything was when we were waiting for the corrected bill. I told him we had had a bad evening and listed why. He did not know what to say. He simply walked away like a dog with its tailed between his legs. I will not return to this restaurant.
Exceptionally good! Well presented and very tasty. Friendly staff. Beautiful setting, beautiful view of the Cathedral and Square.
Please beware. This was my favorite restaurant to visit with my husband, it has a great view of the cathedral. Today we decided to invite my in-laws. We checked the menu and we wanted to just stick with drinks to start with. We were told if we weren’t going to order anything else we had to leave. I was sooo angry I had never been treated that way. I’m sorry but you guys lost a customer. Please beware of the poor customer service of this restaurant.
Party of eight for lunch. Were seated quickly as we were the only customers. We were advised that the food would take 20-30 minutes. At one hour 6 of the eight meals. Fifteen minutes later meals seven and eight arrived. None of the eight meals were satisfactory and none were finished. One was returned untouched as it was obvious there were serious issues in the kitchen. When a thirteen year old does not eat his spaghetti you know there is a problem. Aside from the kitchen not knowing much if anything, service was deplorable. One of the party entered the kitchen to in an attempt to find wait staff, the status of our orders or assistance of any kind. There is nothing redeeming about this place. Anything, anywhere else would be better

El servicio es lento y torpe, aunque los meseros son amables y hacen el intento. El resultado, un lugar con muy buen sabor, al que hay que ir con compañía garantizada o a hacer negocios... y sin premuras.
