Boom Gates Pizza and Take Away

This pizza restaurant is our local restaurant and since a change in management about two years ago the standard of pizza's has improved considerably.There is an extensive range of pizza's and pasta to choose from, but my favourite is the Supreme.We always use the delivery service which is excellent, the delivery staff are always on time and courteous.

We were visiting the suburb and found this friendly take away next to the station. It does great pizzas. Our favourite was "The Red"a spicy mix including capsicum, jalapenos and anchovies. We also tried one with a baked pumpkin topping which was unusual and delicious. The nutella and strawberries dessert pizza was yummy.We were told that it used to be called The Boom Gates before a change of owners.

This pizza place has quickly become my favorite after my previous go-to spot reduced their large size. A simple phone call and the pizza is hot and ready for pickup.

It has been over a year since I last ordered a pizza from this place and I'm not sure if it's under new management, but it's not as good as it used to be. We ordered a supreme pizza and it looked and tasted different. I asked for extra pepperoni but there was very little on the pizza, and there were too many pieces of red pepper. I also gave a tip to the delivery person, but this time I gave the driver $25 for a $22 order and he took the money from my hand and quickly left. I couldn't stop him to ask for my change, but that will be the last time he delivers to me. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
