A quiet and clean hotel five minutes from the airport that offers breakfast and transport even at 4am. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
Great hotel close to the airport, great for short stopovers or early departures. Very large room and bathroom, with a nice balcony. Three wardrobes, one of which is connected to a cabinet that opens from the corridor (which suggests it was a covid hotel) from where food and medicines passed, I imagined this film by myself. We didn't hear the planes. Excellent transfer service to the airport, bar and restaurant. Pleasant and kind staff. The only drawback, the bathroom drain is a bit too noisy. I went to the hotel to charge my car and eat something. Charger in an open garage. In the garage there are two Tesla chargers, one for non-Tesla cars and the other for paid charging, I think from Repsol. I was thrown out like a criminal by an extremely arrogant girl. The receptionist came to try to calm things down by explaining that it was for guests only. I tried to explain that the charger is marked on the internet as public, no sign warns that it is only for guests and that I would go to reception later because my idea was to eat something while I waited. I ended up just leaving and apologizing. I didn't waste time identifying the girl in question because I was very angry and just left. It just said that it is not an electricity supplier. I know it's a hotel. The issue could have been resolved very well in an orderly manner. Unfortunately, they don't realize that they lost a restaurant customer today, a possible guest tomorrow. Very bad. I don't understand how a public service space can be managed like this.
I only spent one night but I highly recommend this hotel. Walkable from the airport and well located. Friendly and smiling staff. Rooms: Very spacious, well lit. Wardrobe with plenty of storage including 1 safe. Walkability: Less than 10 minutes walk from the airport. Access ramp for reception plus elevator for the upper floors. Food drinks: Buffet breakfast, copious and very varied. Sweet or salty as you wish. Rooms: 4
Rooms: I had an accident this week requiring me to use a cane and have assistance at times. As soon as they found this out, they upgraded me to a handicap-accessible room. Regular rooms have several steps to the bathroom and are generally further from the lobby, etc. This room (110) was close to restaurant bar and shuttle area, very spacious, with comfortable bed. It was quiet, despite the occasional shaking from planes, trains, etc. The bathroom and shower area are able to easily accommodate most wheelchairs. The location of the toilet flush button, the toilet paper, and the hair dryer might be difficult for some. The shower had strong force and adjusted to nice warm temperature. The outlet next to the bed is located in a very awkward spot for an able-bodied person much less someone with difficulty moving around as it is closer to the floor and tucked under the shelf with the phone and lamp. This is extra difficult if you are using an adapter and trying to charge several things. Nearby activities: Easy to take the shuttle back to the airport for the metro into Porto (30 mins into center) or hire a taxi (20 mins). Walkability: Definitely walkable to from airport without a lot of luggage. Other places are much further, even for a good walker. Food drinks: Breakfast was worth the 12.50€ for the simple fact that they set up the breakfast buffet at 4 which was perfect for my early flight and I had the chance to sample a few things and then find what I liked. What looked like a nata custard tart was not or at least it was not good quality. There was something similar to French toast but in pastry form which was tasty and the wheat croissant and eggs were surprisingly good. Noteworthy details: The most noteworthy detail was the customer service. The hotel was not full at the time of my stay (Xmas weekend) but Ana took the initiative to change my room and then took so much time to orient me to the city and transportation and touring options and ensuring I had everything I needed and more. Both shuttle drivers were kind and attentive, one spoke good English and the other none but communicated well without. I only wish I had been able to tip them. The morning driver even helped me into the airport and communicated what I needed to airport personnel. The young man at the front desk in the morning also assisted me with my luggage in the morning. Thank you to all.
