Description

Nestled beside a gas station off I‑64 in Morehead, this old‑school truck‑stop diner serves hearty, affordable comfort food—huge omelets, biscuits and gravy, bacon, chili dogs, fish, and generous breakfast plates—often cooked fast for travelers. Portions are large and prices wallet‑friendly; service is usually friendly and chatty though inconsistent at times (spotty coffee refills). Some pre-made patties and a bland entrée or two, plus a few cleanliness quibbles, keep it far from fancy—but for straightforward, satisfying roadside dining it’s a dependable local gem.

When we first got there we was just going to leave. But decided to try it anyway.(crappy looking building attached to a gas station. But the staff was nice and the food (b’&g’s and breakfast platter was exceptionally good! Also idk what they do to their bacon but it was great! So good and service (which in the end is what matters and the surprise of it is why I’m giving it 5 stars and this is the first review I’ve ever givin. Js

Firstly, this is just for the restaurant as the actual gas station is its own mess. Ordered the cheese burger and fries and the meat tast so bland. Not to exaggerate, but it tasted like it was shoved in a bag and boiled in water with no seasoning. It had no flavor at all... I know they are cooking with pre-made Patty's but stleast throw some salt and pepper on it.

The prices are reasonable, and the service was quick and friendly. The mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty, and the chili dog, made with beef, was quite good. The fish was also very enjoyable. However, I wasn't a fan of the macaroni; it reminded me of cheap Kraft mac and cheese. Overall, if I'm passing through again, I would definitely stop by once more.

Service excellent. Burger was not. It actually didn’t even taste like ground beef. Threw the entire thing in trash.Maybe the other menu items are better…

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Morehead. I tried the breakfast wrap, and it was absolutely delicious! Pair it with some bacon and a cup of coffee, and you’re all set. They serve breakfast all day, which is perfect for late risers like me. However, you should hurry since they might run out of biscuits—and rightfully so, because my partner ordered the gravy and biscuit platter and he, who is usually hard to please, would definitely recommend it. The location is easy to find, just off the interstate and away from the congestion of the other Morehead exit. The service is friendly and incredibly accommodating. Overall, it’s an A+ experience! As a local, I’m now a fan and will definitely return many times in the future. As for parking, whether you have a large RV or a smaller car, there’s plenty of space available. I also heard they will be adding EV charging stations soon!
