Soundside - Morehead City

I loved this place for Guite some time. I wanted to take my mother's birthday tonight. The food was just as perfect when Laueren had it. Chris the cook, is phenomenal and his French onion soup is one of the best I ever had. The staff is amazing, Katy the bartender is wonderful to know about food and wine. My favorite place to go now!

The food was absolutely delicious!!! The server was excellent. the individual crab cake was a surprise, but it was really good. The highlight by far was the black grouper and collar.. delicious! Will be back.

First time trying it this week. The restaurant was inviting as well as the staff. The dinner menu is not as extensive as the drink menu. The prices were very high, you pay extra for sides with your expensive entree and $3.00 for bread! $49 for a 12oz. Ribeye steak so we just knew for that price, it was going to be fantastic. Sadly, we?ve had better steak at Longhorn for 1/2 the price an they even give you bread! It?s a no for a return for us.

I don't usually make reviews, but I had to let people know what a wonderful place is! My charcoal grilled steak was cooked for perfection and literally melted into my mouth. The wine selection is excellent. Our server was large city professional and small city warm at once. SoundSide creates the perfect mix of an elegant culinary experience with a cosy family atmosphere. Go! You won't regret it!

Exceptional food. The best steak I had in the state of North Carolina. Fresh, clean, tasty, tasty. Katie, our server was super attentive, friendly and AWESOME. The hostess was very thoughtful, and let us know that there was a big party before us, and our order could take a little longer than expected. This turned out to be not true at all, food was perfect! All employees had a good mood, knowledgeable and represented boss Chris with pride. Beautiful birthday dinner for me! Definitely will return.
