The drinks... read more Reading some of the reviews I have to admit I was a bit surprised. I eat at Sound Side regularly and have never, not even once, had a bad experience. The drinks, food and service have always been great! The steaks are great!!! If you are a dirty martini fan, Lauren makes a mean one! I go to Sound Side because, in addition to the great food, service and drinks, I can enjoy my meal and the company of friends in a relaxed and non-rushed environment. This is dining...not fast food. Sound Side is also one of my kids favorite places to go when they visit.

From the start we were greeted and served by a staff that was friendly and attentive. We started by sampling three Appetizer's, the Grilled Oysters , Beef satay and the Shrimp dip. Every Appetizer was excellent, our party all had steaks, they were cooked as ordered and I enjoyed the sides. I asked for an add on of the scallops and was very glad I did they were caramelized and cooked perfectly so tender they were like butter. I see that it is temporarily closed according to the website, hope to return in the near future. Please put this place on your dinning short list.
