What Johampye doesn't like about The Royal Oak:
Most of meals had gluten in , sausages and burgers both had gluten inthsi was for my friend .I ordered the noodle salad !! What a joke noodle salad description was noodles , courgettes , spring onions and carrots with a chilli dressing ! What came looked awful , looked like a pot noodle with 4 pieces of beef in , and lots of peas . None of the veg mentioned was visible. Looked like a watery soup . No staff came back... had a wonderful stay juni for my men birthday. the pub was beautifully renovated and the welcone was warm and friendly. the beer garden at the back is fabulous, especially on a very sunny day! our dog-friendly room was attached in a separate, secure annex to the pub, the room was attractive and very comfortable. a nice note was a dog bed and water/food bowls that were provided. the evening meal, the breakfast and the... A very nice pub restaurant with dining room, bars inside and a large garden back to enjoy in the sun. I've been here several times.
