Staff were caring and genuinely helpful. Room was large and well decorated with comfortable super king-size bed. Liked the coffee machine. Great ensuite shower room too. Delicious, generous lunch, dinner and breakfast, wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Heysham village is beautiful with fabulous views. We hope to return. A well kept place were one may relax and enjoy food and or drink Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet
Lovely hotel, plenty of parking. In the centre of old Heysham which is a pretty village. Rooms: 11 rooms. The lovely room we stayed in was at the top of the hotel on 2nd floor. There is no lift but the stairs are very easy. Room was warm the bed very comfortable. Nearby activities: Very convenient hotel for nearby Heysham ferry terminal. Walkability: Lovely walk alongside the seafront from Heysham into Morecambe. Also headland walks around Heysham, great views across Morecambe Bay and a walk past an ancient chapel. Food drinks: Good menu choices, quick friendly service from very helpful staff. We both had steak which was cooked exactly as we had requested and was very enjoyable. We particularly noticed how busy the restaurant bar were at lunchtime, which we understood was not unusual. There is plenty of outside seating, both covered uncovered. Service was a little slow I had fish and chips and I got the scraps of the chips not worth the money Service: 2 Location: 4
I've eaten here in the past and really enjoyed it. Today the food was poor. Burger bun was stale and meat dry. My wife's Mediterranean salad was tasteless.
Lovely pub great staff brilliant food and dog friendly all set in a great location, will certainly be back Service: 5 Location: 5
