This hidden gem may have a casual appearance without much charm, but it deserves all five stars. The curries here are among the best we have ever tasted, bursting with flavor in every bite. We sampled almost all of them and each one was exceptional. Sunil, the owner, was friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable and we enjoyed dining here on multiple occasions.

The dining experience at Gunvanti is enjoyable and feels like homemade food. However, the service can be a bit slow due to the freshly prepared dishes and limited staff available, which caters mostly to individuals dining alone.

I was impressed from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the friendly owners with smiles. The fresh and delicious local fish curry rice was amazing. It's worth noting that everything is freshly prepared, so be prepared for a wait. The fish was cooked to perfection and the airy atmosphere was very refreshing, especially on a hot afternoon. We had decided that this trip will have more of the local goan fervour when it comes to eating. it is hard to convince children, because the grandmother always scores above all. still we passed.
