On one of our walks, we got hungry on the beach and checked out a few restaurants. Here, a number of local business people had their lunch so we thought it was a good sign and tried it. We were delighted about the quality and tastiness. The service was good although we felt that some of the rubbish laying around could have been easily removed by the numerous staff. What User doesn't like about Golden Eye Beach Shack:
We visited here 2 years ago and was unimpressed with staff and food. We ask for a bottle of water, the top was intact but on opening and taking a mouthful found it to be feni. A waiter came running down when he realised what we'd been given with another bottle of water. The Golden Eye restaurant in Calangute is a must-visit. We always return here because of the delicious food, welcoming service, and lovely garden. It never fails to impress.
Golden Eye Beach Restaurant is the perfect spot for a meal by the beach. They serve delicious fish and a fantastic fish curry that is simply exquisite. I absolutely adore this restaurant.
We had a mixed experience during our three-day stay at Golden Eye. Upon arrival, we found the place to be very busy with a film crew shooting a South Indian action film. It took a while to find someone to help us with our room booking as they initially claimed the rooms were not available. Eventually, we were shown to our accommodations, which were nice but had some issues with the fan and AC not working initially. The film crew was disruptive with their loud noises and bright lights, making it difficult to enjoy the beach area. Despite some inconveniences like a lack of hot water and a wonky toilet, the staff were friendly and made our stay more enjoyable. The food and cocktails were great, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of during our meals. The location itself is beautiful, but the presence of the film crew did detract from our overall experience. If not for that and some initial room issues, I would have rated this place highly.
When it came out, it began to play loud music, so lundy the earth shakes. we went a restaurant a bit further down the beach and they could hear it still goes on until early morning. I don't know how anyone can stay. there is no mention of eating
A very lovely n enchating place to relax and eat on Morjim beach.. we ordered burgers (veg and sea food) and some drinks.. it was delicious.. price reasonable then other eating places on Morjim beach.. comfortable seating facing the beach..
