Home made dishes with a good selection of wines. Yummy yummy. Book in advanced.
The place is always very nice but I find it has dropped in quality. Today the aubergine parmigiana was really greasy, the pasta with ragù (good homemade pasta) very salty and the creme brûlee burnt, boiling cream, charred fruit and the sugar on top thick and burnt. Lunch time too long, almost an hour and a half. It's a shame, let's hope it's a coincidence because I had always enjoyed it very much and it was one of my favorites in Lugano.
We discovered this restaurant by chance for a lunch break, small menu (so fresh produce) We deliciously ate beautiful plates and flavors guaranteed when the efficient and discreet service basically what happiness we returned there last night to eat à la carte and it was GREAT a big thank you to the team and see you soon for sure
Excellent food and fabulous wine collection! We were a group of 8 and everyone loved their meals.
Beef tartare was bland, had better ones. The highlight, however, was when the waiter/chef whatever brought dessert and said that the table would be reserved in 5 minutes and that he would bring us the bill straight away. Sorry, that doesn't work at all! You can also communicate the countdown in advance and then decide for yourself.

This was a really lovely dinner in the centre of Lugano. We booked a week in advance and I'm glad we did, as there were so many people looking for a table. We were able to choose the best 2 person table outside and it...truly is a very nice atmosphere sitting on the steps by low light. The service was very good, we tried our best to speak Italian, but there was an English speaking server who assisted us. I tried their raw prawn and burrata dish and it was just delicious! We really enjoyed the rest of the meal also, all very nice quality. The wine list is vast and has a great choice of local wines. I would very much reccomend this restaurant for a quiet evening dinner with authentic Italian food. Do make sure you book in advance though as there were no spare tables.
First of all the staff was rude. They didn’t offer us a seasonal menu with a truffle option. And when we asked to see a wine list we had to wait for quite some time to receive it as they only have a few for...the whole restaurant. However to the nearest table with people who speak Italian they were very polite, explained them all the menu options and served the dishes quicker. As for the food it was very average. We had tartars as starters and tagliatelles with white truffle as a main course. As for us they should have added a sauce to tagliatelles because the taste was dry and was definitely missing something.
The place is great with bottle of wines all over the place and a terrific wine list. Menu offers a large variety of choices. The octopus was excellent as well as the fish tartare as startups. Desserts were also tasty. Would not hesitate to go...back :
The two of us had salad, a pasta (mushrooms and seafood) and ice cream for dessert. It was absolutely delicious! Beautiful ambient and atmosphere. However, there were only two waiters for the entire restaurant and they couldn't keep up with demand, not at all! Such...a pity!
Nice restaurant. The risotto and octopus were very good but the salmon tartar and lamb definitely lack seasoning. Good wine suggestions. The menu is only in italian and waiters speak very little english, german or french so be prepare to use google translate if you don’t...speak italian.
