Feedback
Nestled in Aberlour, this café presents a mixed bag of dining experiences. While some guests rave about the warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delightful coffee, others express disappointment in the quality of the food, citing tasteless breakfasts and unsatisfactory service. The café's decor and handmade crafts draw positive remarks, appealing to visitors looking for a cozy spot to relax or shop. However, inconsistency in food quality and service has deterred some patrons from returning, highlighting a need for improvement. Overall, it remains a charming location with potential, though its reliability varies significantly among guests.
Stopped here on a bike ride. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was delicious, the inside and vibes were lovely. Didn't eat anything but the cakes and menu looked nice.
Our breakfast soon arrived and it was quite average. The sausage was not of good quality and the mushrooms seemed to be leftover from the previous day. I even had to ask for extra toast, which came at an additional cost. My wife's dish included only four cherry tomatoes, and my daughter's smoothie was unpleasant and served in a plastic cup despite dining in. My coffee was the only highlight of the meal. Overall, we did not spend much time at the cafe and did not make a complaint at the time to avoid further disappointment. However, we ended up paying over £45 for a subpar breakfast and felt like we had been taken advantage of. It was a disappointing experience.
The food was delicious, the coffee was exceptional, the service was lovely, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I will definitely return in the future. 5 stars.
I stopped by this restaurant while passing through the area in search of a cup of coffee. The coffee was fantastic and the scones were delicious. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting on a rainy and dreary morning, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
