I arrived at 7 and was snapped at by... read more They supposedly close in around 40 minutes, but this is not true. I checked in advance and they are supposed to close at 8. I arrived at 7 and was snapped at by the person behind the counter, who said they were closed. I was standing beside the counter, which was full of fish and lit up. Being told they were closed would have been enough, but the lecture about the shutter being closed was completely unnecessary. Embarrassing customer service. Not a great welcome to Elgin. Pathetic.

You go in (with mask), place an order and stand outside observing social distancing while the girls call your name when your order is ready very well organised. The food is fresh, delicious but a tad overdone with the batter, which is probably how the customers like it. Great for outdoor types who are hungry and don't care about calories.

No matter what i say or how bad this review is it does not do this place justice for... read more Absolute shambles of a place. Can not speak lowly enough about this place. No matter what i say or how bad this review is it does not do this place justice for how poor it is. The girls in here dont have a clue what they are doing. You walk in and order food and she just stands and stares at you with a big dopey blank look on her face. She Said that will be 20-30 mins so stood around for ages and had no confidence the order was actually taken. Nothing was written down. There are 3 women running round with their heads on fire arguing with eachother about who is doing what and what order is next. No management.. no organisation .. the food is bang average and over priced. It takes far too long from ordering to getting hands on your food.. about 45-60 minutes. The place could really do with some new staff who know how to cope and dont panic and argue with eachother. Just take an order.. write it down .. make the food .. take payment.. issue the food. Its really Not hard. Not professional at all with customers stood there and you can see and hear them running round saying “what did he just order” “i dont know whats going on” “ive got orders everywhere” The place is an absolute shambles. In all my life i have never seen food service this poor. Avoid at all costs.
