Food here is terrible, had a dinner feed and lunch feed multiple times here and everytime the food isn’t that good, missus got sick from a feed for here also, but great place other then the food Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40

This restaurant is only a short walk from the Monterey Hotel where we were staying. The beer was served cold and the meal was well presented.

After thoughtful consideration, I have to say that was the worst steak I've ever had. The $40 filet was not worth it, as it was extremely tough and I couldn't even cut through the fat. It was cooked quickly, but that just made it difficult to eat with a steak knife. It would have been better suited for use as a stew meat or in a hash. Since there were no alternative options, I had to leave hungry. The potato tasted like it had been made from a powder mix. The way they placed the steak on the plate, along with the hastily tossed salad, made it look like they were trying to rush the presentation. The staff seemed happy and unaware, more focused on speed rather than quality. There was too much bacon on the oysters and not enough attention to detail. The manager didn't seem interested in hearing any complaints. Despite all this, I wish them well and hope for better experiences in the future.
