Great food and amazing service. Fair prices as well. Everything was brought out in a timely manner, and we ordered a lot.Special props to the staff. We told our server we were a bit hung over and wanted something to take the edge off. She brought us loaded ****** Mary's with a beer chaser that really hit the spot. What Kaylee Aleshire doesn't like about Freddie's Family:
Food was good, service wasnt. We all got breakfast which was good but it seemed as though the only people that were given attention, were regulars. We werent offered anything other than water but looking around, that seemed normal. Never got our check, just told to go up front. Server seemed to be having a bad day which we understood but was a huge turn off for somwhere new to us. View all feedback.

We rented the banquet room for a luncheon to celebrate and remember my dad, who passed away in December. We chose Mora as a general location since it’s pretty much half way between Up North and The Cities. I started researching available space in the area and Mark was by far the easiest to work with and gave us the best quote. The space was perfect for what we needed, the food was outstanding, and we had the perfect level of service. We did the soup and salad buffet and people really were commenting on how good everything was- quality meats and cheeses, great soups made with fresh ingredients, and outstanding cakes. The room is nicely set up and it never felt overcrowded. I think we had about 80 people.All in all, the perfect venue for our needs. Can’t say enough good things about the place, the staff, or the food. All was excellent.
When it comes to causal dining, Freddie’s is the go-to spot. The atmosphere is laid back, and visually there’s a lot of to take in from local fish mounts to other nostalgic Minnesota amenities. The service provided was top notch, making us all feel right at home. Might be back if ever rolling through the area again.
I only come here once or twice a year but it's ALWAYS been delicious and the service great! The atmosphere is severely lacking but a table is a table!!
