Close to Jenny Lake, in Grand Teton National Park, Dornan's in Moose is a crowded, popular and happening place. Seemed to be favored by locals and tourists. Pizza is just okay. Menu paired down due to covid. Wifi available. A nice deck. Great views of the Tetons from deck and upstairs. Right next to the Snake River, so you can walk down and imagine times past. We went here on a Saturday eve at around 6PM thinking we would have to wait a long time. We were pleasantly surprized. There was some line to order but we had our beverages and pizza within 15 minutes or so. It was very good and the views were outstanding!
There are a lot of places in the park to eat. We just happened to stop here and we had a fabulous time! First, the view is spectacular. Second, the food is amazing! We had the Thor pizza and the Pilsner which was so refreshing! Third, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Yes, absolutely I would return!
This is a nice restaurant to visit, but it can get very crowded. My family went early, and there was still a long line. The tables are very close next to each other and makes it even more crowded. The food is good, and the service was pretty fast as well with getting the food out to the tables. You have to get your drinks at the bar-soft drinks included as they do not bring them to the table for you. The views are great too, but definitely go early if you want to get a good table. Not sure what the lunch rush is like, but I am sure that is busy too!
The line is long, but moves fast. The pizza at Dornan's is great. The salads are huge. We especially enjoyed people watching: locals and dudes. There's a very nice wine store next door. It was handy to grab a bottle to enjoy with the leftovers we took back to our hotel.
Great food and great refreshments. This time I had an Italian calzone. Without question, the best one I’ve ever had! Large, plenty of Italian meats, baked to perfection, and good dipping sauce! It’s a must stop when we visit family in the area.
