Nope, my order got promptly taken and I had a coke in my hands in no time and it got refilled lickety-split with a mere gesture to the waitress. My meal was the Greek salad and it was one of the very best I have ever had. Really good food! Awesome waitress even in a packed place! Bobby’s Place really has their act together. What more could you ask for! I was really impressed and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Service is always terrific and I feel comfortable in the environment. Can't argue with the Celtic tones, the music reflects the heritage of the family built business and is enjoyable without being intrusive.

I ordered them with crispy pommes. The fish seemed tasteless. The pommes are freshly cut. I'm not a cook, but I don't think I've ever got fresh cuts that were crispy... they were just overcooked and not crispy at all. The place is small and cramped. The size cannot change, but the seats are very unpleasant. We wanted to eat and drink and hear the band. We were there about 2 1/2 hours and couldn't wait to leave the chair was so unpleasant. The staff is great, the atmosphere is great. My wife enjoyed her homemade burgers. I think they are big corporate citizens

The food was amazing, the service incredible, and the atmosphere was brilliant! Thank you for a lovely anniversary dinner and the complimentary shots. Next time we'll stick around for the karaoke.

Always great service and exceptional quality of food. It never fails and the staff always go out of their way to make it a perfect meal and experience. Plus they have the biggest batch of the best battered mushrooms you can get anywhere! I get them everytime no matter what, even though they cannot be finished by one person. I wish Regina still had one. But it's worth the trip to moose jaw any day. Keep up the great service and thank you.

Reminds me of pubs back home in Nova Scotia, love seeing the N.S. flag on the ceiling!! We hammered a ton of wings there last night and they were great. One point I want to make though, I ordered the death sauce wings and was asked by Tannis and another gentleman (the chef perhaps? how they rated. At that point I gave them an 8/10 for heat, but they hadn't quite set in yet lol, I'd like to upgrade that to a solid 9.7/10 and give a huge kudos to the chef for making my damn face melt, so great! And awesome flavour too!

Always checking to see if I am happy with my meal and topping up my drinks. I would recommend this to any person who would like the feel of an old world pub. I have and will continue to tell people they must try Bobby's!

I was in Moose Jaw for the weekend celebrating my boyfriends birthday and seen online that this was the best place to eat in Moose Jaw. So we decided to check it out, and it definitely did not disappoint! I ordered the Yorkshire pudding and omg!! It was hands down the best thing I have ever eaten! It was beyond delicious and HUGE!! Half way through my meal the owner (a woman) came to the table and said 'It looks like you need more gravy ' then she went to the back and brought out a big bowl of gravy for me! Who says no to more gravy? Yum!! The food was absolutely amazing, the owners were super friendly and came to chat with us a few times while we were there, even showing my boyfriend the mandolin that they use to slice the potatoes! The atmosphere was great, lots of people talking and laughing This will be my go to whenever I am in Moose Jaw from now on for sure!

At the end of the meal when I received the cheque the waitress, kindly pointed out that she’s deducted some of the price because some of the mussels did not open up. I’ve never had that happen in a restaurant before and it was quite a pleasant surprise.We both enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere very much.We will be back the next time we’re in town. Thank you.

But, the issue is the online price from their own menu and their website shows $17 for the bangers and mash, and $17.50 for the fish and chips. When I went to pay, they were $19.99 each. And no, I wasn't using some old menu or some lunch discounted menu it is the one on their website. I didn't bother arguing because I didn't want to hear some excuse about their online site, but no tip and likely not ordering from them again.

It can get very loud in there, even when there isn’t an event on. One time my friend and I went on a day where there wasn’t supposed to be anything on and a band showed up and played music for like an “extra” night. My friend and I weren’t prepared and we were right up close to the stage and it was so loud we ended up just packing our food up and taking it home. It can be really fun! I just wasn’t expecting it, and it was on the calendar we just missed it. So if you don’t want loud, make sure it’s on a night without karaoke or live music. If you like karaoke and live music, you’ll love it! It can be calm on other days! The service is amazing as well!

Looked more like an order of nachos, perfectly cooked potato skins smothered in a layer of cheese with real bacon and nice chunks of green onion. Friendly waitress made it even better. Will be back on my next trip through Moose Jaw.

Then we shared the fish and chips with an extra piece of fish. Fries were greasy and a bit limp. Coleslaw was nice. Fish looked great and flaked nicely but actually had very little flavor even after adding lots of lemon and salt.

They were the highlight of my meal. The Yorkshire pudding was just okay. There was plenty of food but the beef was dry, lacking in gravy, and the pastry was dried out. It was 7pm so I assume everything was pre-cooked, which explains the quality.
