True Alaskan rustic experience. The owner Steve was awesome and super helpful. Cabin got very warm and cozy. Definitely want to come up for moose hunting in the future! View all feedback.
What Lucas Connelly doesn't like about Angel Creek Lodge:
Service and location were 5 stars, but there was a dead mouse in our bed so we decided to just drive back to Fairbanks for the night. Nice folk though and the cabins are heated and cozy. View all feedback.
We stopped here while staying at Chena Hot Springs. We had some bar snacks and beer. And the cutest dog seeka was there to play with. Would recommend!!
Basic dry cabins that are about 1/5 the price that you will pay at the nearby Chena Hot Springs resort. Seriously. It's rustic but Steve has the most amazing retrieving (Seeka) and basically for around $75 you get a dry cabin with a stove for wood (compared to a luxury room in Chena for $250). Highly recommend.
Great burgers, plenty of beer, friendly folk. Now a must-stop for us on the way back from a soak
This is such a gem great burgers and plenty of beer. They played a great gold mining video for us. Walked out to the dredge. A must
You can't beat the atmosphere and location. A must-stop for any visitors to Alaska, it's one of the last remaining roadhouses in the interior, and the other three on Chena Hot Springs road have all burned down, and this one has been threatened by wildfire many times. The best parts of the menu are going to be your fries and chicken tender baskets, and Ranier in a can. There's an old dog living here so go slow in the parking lot! They accept cash and credit card, And I guarantee you if you stop here after getting back from a cabin trip I hate it angel rocks or even a soap at China Hot Springs this will be a highlight of your trip.
