I went to Lucki's for the first time with my girlfriend. The ambiance itself is very charming, given the limited space, but it's extremely cramped. We sat on high stools, and the guests at the table behind us were practically right next to our chairs. The lights were also very bright and tiring after a while. Perhaps I chose the wrong dish. I had fried rice with shrimp. But unfortunately, the dish tasted very bland, and two large shrimp are really not enough. And if you don't like peanuts AND can't tolerate spicy food, the options are very limited. My girlfriend really enjoyed her dish—it was vegetarian with glass noodles. What I also found disappointing was the, shall we say, very reserved service. This is surprising, since the staff can see everything from the bar. We had to wait quite a long time for our food, about 20-25 minutes. We weren't even asked if we wanted chopsticks. When I raised my hand because I wanted at least some soy sauce to give my dish a little bit of flavor, nobody noticed me for a full 10 minutes. Not exactly worth the high prices. Unfortunately, things didn't improve towards the end. Because, of course, I told the server again that the food had simply tasted bland. To which I was then accused of not having spoken up sooner (which I had done when I asked for soy sauce)

Hello, We were there last Sunday evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Reservations are recommended because it's relatively small, but very cozy... and it can comfortably seat around 40 people. The service was very attentive but not intrusive... just as it should be. The menu is very well explained and leaves no questions unanswered. It's also very extensive... if you can't find something to your liking here, you have a different problem entirely... very typical for this type of restaurant and the country it comes from. It's not exactly a bargain, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Perhaps it's better to eat out less often but choose high-quality meals... and this restaurant definitely fits the bill. We were in Freising and this was a spontaneous decision, but we didn't regret it for a second. We were very satisfied and would gladly visit again anytime... a highly recommended restaurant... Best regards, Hubertus

Although we hadn't made a reservation and it was very busy, we were shown to a table very quickly. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. I would definitely go back.
