I visited the restaurant for the first time in the frame of a school event, it was approx. 110 people, booked was a grill and salat buffet. because of the bad weather, the food was served in the room, but that did the quality of the food and also the mood no break. the ambiente is rustic, felt out of the 70s, and everything is clean and coherent in itself. you notice that operators and also service and kitchen often manage larger events. everything went smoothly, of course there were well prepared büfett waiting times, but everything went quietly and relaxed. there were filetspieße, spices, varicose and winged steaks, pommes, bratkartoffeln and rice, a rich salate fat, also rice and curry sauce as reverence to our Chinese guests. good quality, solid, tasty, good price-performance ratio.We will surely come more often in the frame of a bike tour. I really liked it, the resonance of the group was overall very positiw.

Since then, we've been regulars...always with grea... read more We stumbled upon this place 25 years ago by chance. We arrived by trike and spent the night in the log cabin. Since then, we've been regulars...always with great pleasure. A fantastic beer garden with friendly service and a good menu. The owner is often there, chatting with everyone, making appointments...weddings are very popular here. In the summer, weddings can also be held outside in the garden...discuss the details with the owner, Cassi. A huge hall is also available. I personally witnessed the preparations and was impressed. A superb buffet was set up...If you're interested, you should talk to Cassi. One more tip...Cassi is located almost exactly between Emden and Leer, making it a great starting point for daytime or evening visits to these cities.
