The place is overall pretty okay, I wouldn't say it's outstanding. It's got an old diner atmosphere. The one who took our order wasn't outstandingly nice or mean, they were just doing their job. What Destiny Johnson doesn't like about Moorhead Fryn' Pan Family:
Brianna our server took our order and dropped it off but never came to see how we were or if we needed anything else, which we did. When she brought the last dish she basically threw it on the table and walked away. We waited twenty minutes for her to come back and by that point we just went to pay and leave. We ordered to go the Taco Salads. They usually are delicious. Not so much tonight. Shells were over cooked almost to burned. I had spinach in my shell. Whaaat? Skimpy tomato beef, no olives. Never again!
It's a good go to place when you don't have any other selections. The last time we went, I ordered French Toast and it was the driest French toast I've ever had in my life!!! I seriously had to look good at it to see if the ? was definitely dunked in? mixture, looked like it was painted on instead of dunked!!!

I also got a Mango Peach Banana smoothie, and it tasted okay but the texture was more like banana bread batter, so I felt like I was drinking acidic banana bread batter. I wasn't partial to it.

If you love that old home feel, which I do, this is the place for you. They have a great salad bar with 2 4 different soups and a variety of salad fix8ngs, pasta salads, coleslaw, and/or potatoe salad. The people are friendly and the staff is very helpful.
