Typically quite good. Great pizzas and I love the steak bites entrée. A decent beer selection. That said, we had chicken nachos last evening and could not eat them....very much overdone...perhaps under warming lamp too long? Table next to us had similar experience. I give it 4 stars for our typical experience, but avoid the nachos. View all feedback.
What Kiana Carter doesn't like about Brewtus’ Brickhouse Moorhead:
Worst service I’ve seen yet. Had to ask another server to order after waiting for our first server for 10+ minutes (maybe 3 tables in the whole place). Had to go up to the bar and ask for refills when our server passed by many times and saw our drinks empty. Server didn’t ask if we needed anything or asked how our food was. Had to ask for the bill since no one came back to our table. Servers should take a serving cla... View all feedback.
I wouldn’t say the selection of draft beers is extensive, but there’s something for everyone's taste. The pizza is consistently delicious. During my last visit, I tried the steak bites, and I would highly recommend them!
The service was outstanding! The atmosphere was amusing and lively. I really appreciated the hooks under the bar for hanging bags. The menus, printed on a wooden chip, added a unique touch, with the kids' menu featured on the reverse side. The burger and brisket buns were branded with a "B," which was a nice detail. The food was delicious, and there were three different sauce options for the brisket.
The pizza was faint! sweet potato waffelfries were good. service and drinks were great!
Today was my first time to this establishment. I walked in and during my whole time there it was pretty quiet, but I personally enjoyed this. It allowed me to relax and enjoy my time at the place. The bartender told me that this isn't something that is consistent and that in the evenings it picks up quite a bit. But the whole place had a great vibe, calm and casual. The staff were equally easygoing and friendly. The menu was something that I'd like to go back and tackle more of. Not overwhelming by any means, but certainly stacked with delicious sounding options. Today I chose the Brickhouse Western Burger, per the bartenders suggestion, and his recommendation was spot on, even down to the type of barbecue sauce. The burger itself was flavorful and savory, and had a nice crunch with the fried onion strings. The only disappointing element of the burger is that I felt it was a little over cooked. Other than that it was well put together. And the fries were in a category of their own. Thick cut fries that were crisp and hearty. They have plenty of other options for anyone, including a lunch menu that provides some quick and cheap eats. And if that's not enough they have a pizza buffet also available. I'm excited to head back in and explore the menu more.
The bar and grill atmosphere is fantastic! I tried the chicken avocado sandwich, and it was incredible. Unfortunately, the side salad was a bit lackluster; it seemed to be store-bought and not very fresh. While the salad was a letdown, the sandwich made up for it! I’ll definitely return because they have an impressive menu with a lot of options. Plus, the ambiance is really enjoyable!
