Saw Brewing - Mooresville

I visited last night and ordered the bacon bomb appetizer. Unfortunately, the inside was completely raw dough. We ended up throwing it away. I'm not sure how that happens. I won't be coming back to this restaurant again.

1. They offer a deal on Wednesdays where you save a few dollars if you order a pizza with an extra topping. I asked the bartender if I could still get the deal if I only wanted cheese. She looked frustrated and replied, "That’s the deal." Translation: No, you can't. 2. The pizza was just okay—maybe slightly better than average, but not by much. This wasn’t a surprise, given that it was served on a silver pizza tray. Pizza just doesn’t taste as good when it’s presented that way. 3. The bartender suggested a large pizza for two, but it ended up being way too much food. There were some high school kids nearby, so I decided to give the leftovers to one of them. Two of the three were eating, while the third wasn’t. It made his day, which was nice. Who knows? I might have saved him from going hungry! 4. The decor and music were excellent. Overall, expect a decent experience, but don’t anticipate anything extraordinary.

Unfortunately, our recent meal at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The burger was overcooked and dry, and the server never returned to check on our satisfaction. It was such a significant letdown that I'm unsure if we'll return.

If you're a beer lover, you definitely have to check this place out! They offer a variety of other drinks, including fountain drinks. The process is easy: just scan the QR code after choosing any table you like, inside or outside, then head to the hostess desk to place your order. You'll receive a number, and your food will be brought to your table—it's a great system! I tried the shroom burger with a veggie patty and beer-battered onion straws, and it was so delicious that I completely forgot to take pictures of my meal! I believe they also have live music.

My pizza was ready in under 25 minutes, so I took it to go. The toppings were delicious, and the sauce was as good as I remembered. However, the pizza crust was unusually crisp and crunchy—while the flavor was fine, it was rather dry. Based on this experience, I can't recommend the pizza from this visit, but I’m open to trying again due to my prior positive experiences.
