mmt kitchen is where it is! I waited until this place opens. so happy they opened a soul food spot in the mall above all because there are not many choices to choose. the entire staff is amazing and very nice. the food was perfect! my favorites are the smashed truthahn wings with a side of green and mac. each week they have specials, so do they have to check them? The chicken was quite tough. It seemed like the chicken was fried in the same oil as the fish, so the chicken tasted overwhelmingly fishy. The texture of the chicken was very slimy. It seemed like they may have tried to rehydrate it with water or something, but the chicken was absolutely unappetizing. The combination of the texture and taste of the chicken made it inedible. Food was extremely salty, overcooked and pretty pricey. Maybe I just went on a bad day, but I'll pass trying again. I pretty much threw my meal in the garbage. I couldn't stomach the salty greens, mushy macaroni and over dry overcooked fried chicken. I was excited to see a soulfood spot.... but once I tried their food, extremely disappointed. The staff seemed pretty friendly, that's why i gave a star.

The food was delicious and fresh! The fried fish was especially amazing. We will definitely be coming back to show our support.
