Guests praise Mirchi for friendly service, generous portions and standout breads; occasional comments note uneven spice balance and the rare quality lapse with a meat element.
Always brilliant food and friendly service Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
First visit as a new resident to the area. Starter: pickle tray, poppadoms, mixed tandoori and fish pakora 10 out of 10, the poppadoms were crispy, dry and light. Main, selection of breads rice and curry dished 8 out 10, rice and bread was superb but a couple of the curries were slightly too sweet and not quite enough spice, slight adjustment next time and I'm sure it will be 10 out of 10. Can't fault the flavour and the breads are excellent, buttered nan took the crown. Very clean, its almost a clinical restaurant. Staff are exceptionally friendly, you don't feel guilty drinking your own alcohol as we have done in some restaurants. We will deffinatly be back. Thank you. Vegetarian options: Plenty of meat free vegetarian options from veg curry to fresh cooked breads. Parking: There's plenty of street parking along the front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Deffinatly made our young 18 month old very welcome.
Best place for a curry! Generous amounts , tried other places but this is definitely the best! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20
Nice and friendly but the chicken in the curry was like 20mm gravel! It hit floor like a rock. The sauce was like hot gravy and the rice was unlike anything I've witnessed. About as authentic as a grandmas casserole RIP chicken? Gave this a 2* because the guy looked depressed. My last and only visit!

Mirchi’s dinner service tends to be busiest—locals often arrive early for a table or to secure a takeaway slot, so planning a slightly earlier visit helps avoid the evening rush.
