Every meal felt like an audition, and unfortunately, this one didn't pass. The sausage was greasy and lacking in flavor. The turkey was very dry and fell apart when I tried to dip it in sauce. My partner, however, did enjoy the ribs. The okra was predominantly overcooked breading rather than actual okra. The mac and cheese was mostly mushy and bland. The beans had an unpleasant ‘dirty’ taste. The bread served as mere filler, and I ended up giving it to the dog. To top it all off, the layout of the restaurant is poorly designed for quick pick-up of call-in orders.
The smokehouse beans are incredible; I highly recommend trying them. The brisket was good, though I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever had, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The dining area was spotless, and the staff were very friendly. The prices are typical for barbecue.
My husband ordered the turkey dinner, which came with potato salad and smokehouse beans. He couldn’t finish it all, so I helped him out with the beans and potato salad—both were even better than homemade! I had the chopped brisket sandwich with fried okra, and the portions were generous and absolutely delicious as well. The prices are quite reasonable too! The only downside was the parking situation. Since they share a lot with other businesses in the strip, we had to park in the adjoining lot, which was only a few feet away but still a bit inconvenient. Overall, Ray, you receive an A+ from us!
I love this place. I always come here after dialysis, which is next door. I'm on a fixed time schedule and usually don't have a lot of time before my ride picks me up. That said, I don't think it's ever taken them longer than 5 minutes to bring me myorder. I always order the half-smoked chicken. It falls off the bone, is incredibly delicious, and seasoned to perfection. Theirsauces are also delicious, my preference is their hot barbecue. The staff is very nice and considerate. I find the prices fairlyreasonable and affordable. I don't particularly dine-in, but the seating is decent in size. I wouldn't go for the decor, but Iwouldn't describe the place as bland either. But all in all, great food and great staff. Would highly recommend to friends andfamily. 5/5 don't forget to tip.

This is the REAL DEAL! Them hot links are the best and the brisket was good with a nice smoke. If you’re in the area you definitely should stop in and try Thai place. Million times better then Billy Sims I can assure you of that.
Food was good. One thing that happened was that the ac running through the dining area actually had some condensation and dripped right into my food. I was already pretty much done, but that ended my meal for me.
The food and service at this restaurant are always outstanding. The lunch specials offer great value, with generous portions for the price. I definitely recommend trying the loaded baked potato with chicken.
I hardly know where to begin with this restaurant. The ribs are absolutely amazing. The brisket is smoked to perfection, so tender that it practically falls apart. The sausage and hot links are equally delicious. Everything you taste here is outstanding. The prices are reasonable, the staff is welcoming, and the enticing aroma as soon as you walk in will make you hungry in no time. I make an effort to return whenever possible because it's simply that good.
Ray’s Bbq offers a fantastic menu with a very impressive first experience. The turkey was moist and flavorful, the sliced brisket absolutely delicious, and the thinly sliced sausage packed with great taste. The greens were flavorful, and the fried okra was perfectly crispy. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing food. The ribs were so tender and tasty. The Mac n cheese is to die for. I really like the mashed potatoes and fried okra. The only thing that made me sad was the sliced brisket was kind of dry.
Ray?s is the best bbq in Norman hands down. Their collard greens are a must, the Mac and cheese is baked and so good. The ribs fall off the bone. Plus the staff is always so nice. No matter what you get you will be happy!!!
My husband ordered the turkey dinner, which came with a smoky potato salad. He couldn't finish it, so I helped him out with the potato salad, which was actually better than homemade! I had the chopped brisket sandwich with roasted okra, and the portions were very generous and delicious! The prices were also reasonable. The only downside was the parking. They share a lot with other businesses in the strip, so we had to park in an adjacent strip mall just a short walk away. Overall, we had a wonderful time!
Mr. Ray is a true Sooner Legend, both on the football field and when it comes to smoking meats. He’s such a kind person! The ribs here are my favorite in the Oklahoma City area. The side dishes are fantastic, especially the beans! We dine here 3 to 4 times a month, and it’s consistently excellent!
