Try it!. I really enjoy this place. Mexican is my favorite, however good Mexican food places are hard to come by. I definately would recommend this place. My expectations are so high there are really only 2 places I would recommend in Oklahoma. This being one of them. View all feedback.
A rainy Saturday brings a Tex Mex craving for some reason so the wife and I decided to try Abuelita's in Moore. Lunch specials range from $5.99 $8.99 served Monday Saturday 11:00am 5:00pm. Beer specials are offered so check the board when entering. Chips, salsa, queso, and tortillas (corn and flour) are complimentary. The chips were warm and not overly salted which is easier on this old guy's cardio vascular system. The salsa was not watery and the queso tasty. The beef in my enchilada and taco was not greasy. Soft drinks and tea are $2.29 with free refills. Overall, a satisfactory experience. We will return.
We love this restaurant for our family!!! I love the pollo con chili verde, chimichanga, and the chili relleno!!! The kids really love the chicken strips! Ask for the special sauce for those who love chipotle flavoring with guacamole...YUM!!!!
It was actually pretty good the cheese and salsa is the best I have had though in okc most restaurants are pretty watery but there's is not and actually has flavor. I had the tacos de carne asada and it was good rice and beans were great.
Amazing Mexican food!!!. This place is soooo good! We've been going for years but they recently changed EVERYTHING and all for the better! The food is amazing, and they serve large portions! Ive never had anything from here that i didnt like! The staff is amazing, all so warm and friendly. I highly recommend this place!!
Great TexMex!. We arrived at the restaurant, it was busy, but we were warmly greeted and seated immediately. We had a wonderful waitress, the salsa and queso were excellent. Our orders arrived quickly and everything was correct. Both of us have cooked professionally and our orders were cooked and sauced perfectly, the plates were picture perfect and everything went so well I overtipped the waitress. Prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was clean and it had cloth napkins. We were full when we left after the complimentary sopapilla (and I have no idea how they got it to puff like that). GOOD JOB!
