After my lunch break at AFTRS in the entertainment quarter, I walked around looking to have a good lunch and went here after seeing the ad for nutella pizza which i gotta have, and I don't regret it. Maybe unhealthy to the max but I was on holidays and wanted a good time, and this was it. I loved it. View all feedback.

If you have all night to wait to be served and don't mind paying way too much and leaving hungry then this is the restaurant for you.

A group of us where meeting before seeing a band at the Horden. Decided on Mi Piace Pizza bar. What a disappointment. First some of us were told off for ordering beers at the bar then sitting down in the eating section...... We then ordered drinks from the waitress a glass of Margan Chardonnay $12) which was nice and a beer $11) followed by our food order of Mushroom Risotto and Barramundi. Both meals were around the $28 mark and really bad. Sure if we had paid say $15 we might have expected something edible but when you pay a bit more you expect your food to be reasonably good. Barramundi was rubbery and the risotto was pretty tasteless if you disregard the salt.
Been here a few times and the experience is hit or miss. The pastas are okay but nothing special. Avoid the lasagna. The pizzas are generally pretty good. The biggest problem with this restaurant is lack of customer service and poorly trained staff who just don't seem to care. Sometimes the food comes out in a timely manner, but it is not unusual to wait up to an hour for a pizza. For the price you pay, overall it is not worth it.
This restaurant is completely overpriced. The service is slow/ poor. And if you get passed that, they do not accept Amex (despite using the Amex bill holders) or split checks. So basically If you like to hear no to your requests go here. Otherwise, save your money and have a good meal elsewhere.
