I ordered Saag Chicken, Kheema Roti, and some Papadums for lunch. I opted for takeout because there was a long wait. The food was delicious - the chicken was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of spices. The Kheema Roti was the standout dish. However, the Papadums were just average. View all feedback.
What achilm doesn't like about Bawarchi Indian Restaurant and Take Away:
Bawarchi is famour for it's Biryani (chicken or mutton) and to tell you what their Biryani sucks big time waste of a taste, you can make better biryani at home.. Avoid it's food you will waste money and time visiting there.. View all feedback.
We had a very enjoyable lunch at this restaurant, Tandoori Chicken, Beef Vindaloo, Butter Chicken and Lamb Saag with Rice and garlic Naan. Delicious!! The Service was great and we had fast and good service. Wonderful!! They had a 60th Birthday at the same time, but this did not interfere with our fast service and excellent food. Very reasonably priced with large serves and giant Naan with plenty of garlic and Ghee. Wow!! We all enjoyed our meals and will return!!
Want to get a slice of India in these troubling Melbourne days of earthquakes and rioting workers? Come to this little gem in the heart of Moorabbin, a hive of office workers and pensioners. The pandemic atmosphere is best seen in my image. The Dinner Pack is great value. I favour the Saag or Vindaloo in lamb or beef or goat, but I assume it's all tasty. You get a free rice and naan. One of the best value Indian restaurants I know of. It's the pandemic in Melbourne so it's takeaway.

This restaurant is run by an Indian family. They are very attentive and treat you like guests and not customers. The food served here is the best I had in Melbourne. They have large variety of North Indian and South Indian dishes. I will recommend Rassam and Rice to the visitors.
We had a wonderful dinner at a very reasonable price .My wife and I are not familiar with a lot of Indian food so we asked for advice ,what was recommended to us was amazing. To sum up great food and fantastic service we will return.
