We frequented De Ja Vu during our stay at Mooloolaba (most days), the staff were fantastic, loved the atmosphere, coffee and the great range of meals. The daily specials were terrific, loved indian tasting plate and freshly baked scones. We'll be back for sure!!! View all feedback.

This cafe has never let me down before. They serve lovely coffee and delicious cake so I should have ordered that instead of lunch.I chose soup of the day (pea and ham served with a brioche roll). The soup was ok but not good for pea and ham. It was watery although it did contain a good amount of ham. This restaurant, located along the Esplanade, is a popular spot for breakfast and lunch with a lively atmosphere, especially on weekends. When we visited on a Saturday, it was busy with only a few available tables. They offer a variety of breakfast options including daily specials and serve decent coffee. We tried the eggs benedict with salmon, sunrise brekky avo on toast with feta cheese, and the bacon egg wrap, all of which were delicious. The portions are decent, but if you have a big appetite, you may want to order a little extra. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are comparable to other cafes in the area. Sit facing the beach to enjoy the beautiful views.
The restaurant is in a fantastic location with a beautiful view and the staff were incredibly friendly. There were plenty of food options to choose from. While the breakfast we ordered was delicious, I thought the price of $60 for two breakfast dishes and two flat whites was a bit on the expensive side.
We had a table near the heater... Lovely and warm.... Our coffee order arrived very quickly after being shown our table. Extensive menu, healthy options available and very well presented. Our lovely waitress was prompt, friendly and helpful. I'll keep going back there every time I go up to the Sunshine Coast. Excellent....
While the prices may be a bit high, the service, food, coffee, and view are all excellent. I couldn't find any faults at all.
Delicious coffee. Generous serves of the big breakfast and eggs benny. Only thing with eggs benny was it needed more hollandaise sauce to make it 10/10. Great spot in the sunshine opposite the beach.

Came here for Easter snacks. the staff was amazing and the food was so fresh and tasty. very practical place and we were not rushed at all. in vain return
Only we both went for a late breakfast (9:30, Wednesday morning). here is a gem. the personal is simply excellent. we were warned that they were short, so they were ready to wait. we had senior hired to make sure that we had the order they had taken over (one had served it) at 2 places eating and coffee. R.E.S.P.E.C.T. under pressure. this is a premium location, excellent. the meals were not cheap, but they were large enough with wonderful taste profiling and beautifully presented. even eating for children looked good on the table next to us. I had too many way. highly recommended.
I'm sure you won't starve here. there is a lot of choice on the menu, everything is great. it's hard to choose something if they're looking for a small breakfast that's not a muffin. Maybe I wasn't too hungry. breakfast came. in a contemporary fashion, before our coffee even, and it was quite delicious. we would definitely try to find others if in the city, but also here again.
We had lunch here the last day of our holiday and it was excellent. we ordered 2 steak sandwiches a gf plus desert. all excellent and the staff was excellent. highly recommended.
DON’T EAT HERE!!! The staff were so rude I should’ve walked away at the start. I ordered chicken schnitzel with salad and chips. As soon as I receive my meal I could see that the salad was slimy and decomposing. I advise the waitress she...took my meal away to get a fresh salad and then brought my meal back cold. The tomato on the top was clearly past it’s used by date and should not be served to anyone especially a paying customer. She asked me how it was and I advise that the was in edible but she did not care. The chicken was bland, cold and dry and the mushroom sauce was like water. My friend got the steak sandwich with the same slimy lettuce but as she had taken a bite so they only offered to give her fresh lettuce on half the sandwich. This place should not be operating. Zero out of 5!!
