What Charles Besson dislikes about Alooshi:
I really love Lebanese food and was so excited when I heard that Alooshi was opening here at Mooloolaba. I found the food pretty good overall, but I was really surprised at how much they were charging for what they gave. I've eaten much better food for a lot less money elsewhere and was amazed at how expensive it was. In addition, they don't allow split bills which is a real pain. I think that this place could be gre... View all feedback.

Because the service is terrible! we were here a few times and twice it was said that we were not allowed to order engaged while we were waiting for other members of our party to arrive. Last night we had 2 guests who arrived later than the rest of our party, and I was told on the phone when the restaurant confirmed our booking that they had to order at 18.30 a.m. the waitress was really nice, but the owner was rude and did not want to allow us to order something we had to order together at the same time. I'm not sure I want to go back, even if it's good to eat. who needs to be treated like that if you paid a night?
When we first tried to go here, they were booked! when we came home, we realized that they took away (approved the bad service when we decided we had to try this place). we took the following week and it was lovely! we will eat it next time to try the complete menu.

Firstly I am excited that there is something new on the sunny coast and that is good traditional vibrant Lebanese cuisine! Secondly WOW, great food great value and great staff! Third thing reading these reviews it's great to see good feed back more then bad...feed back... I can sit here write for ages as to how my experience at alooshi was guys get there and try it... I am a huge fan of Lebanese cuisine and was thrilled when I heard that Alooshi was opening in Mooloolaba. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good, but I was shocked by the high prices for the portions served. I have had better food for much less at other restaurants and was taken aback by the expensive prices here. Additionally, the restaurant does not allow split bills, which can be inconvenient. I believe Alooshi has the potential to be great if they offered better value for money.
