I had lunch as a couple, and in my opinion, some of the dishes weren't worth the price. As an appetizer, I ordered crostini made with stale bread, which cost me 18 euros. Given the price, the bread should have been toasted on the spot. Otherwise, it was okay.
A nice and clean place, with very friendly and professional staff who know how to welcome guests, making them feel at ease. The attention to allergies and intolerances is positive. Excellent dishes and top-quality wine. The ravioli mugellani, the pappardelle with wild boar ragù, the Tuscan platter, and the grilled vegetables are superb. This will be our go-to place when we're craving a great lunch in Monza.
A charming restaurant located in the courtyard of a building in the historic center, with limited seating and a lovely atmosphere. The menu reflects the restaurant's name and features mostly Tuscan dishes, with plenty of charcuterie and cheese platters and crostini. I tried the savory pecorino panna cotta with dried tomatoes, walnuts, and pears, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, the Tuscan crostini weren't appreciated because they were made with slices of pre-toasted bread and had a rather bland topping. Given their price, we would have expected something better, with freshly toasted bread. The cacio e pepe pici were not bad, although the sauce was a bit runny; the peposo was good. The service is quick enough, and the staff is very friendly, while the restaurant is charming, bright, and quiet. The wine selection is good, served by the glass, and, much appreciated, they let you taste it before serving (which is not a given). This simple gesture allows you to see the bottle of your chosen wine and taste it before it's served. The overall rating is good, although in my opinion the quality/price ratio of some options should be assessed differently.
Good food, casual atmosphere, somewhat obtrusive staff. Prices are out of line. We had a platter for two, two main courses, and a bottle of water for €90. The bill was too high.
