We stayed at dinner one night on friends' advice. Friendly and courteous staff. Very good food, from pizza to the very first very abundant to get to the very good desserts. Right prices and in the standard. Absolutely to recommend if you want to spend a nice evening in company eating well. View all feedback.
What Franco T doesn't like about Grotta Azzurra:
we went here trying to find a different place to the usual one we go. The pizza is ok, probably a bit small and slighly overpriced. We had our beers replaced because it was the bottom of the barrell. I would not reccomend it to go unless for a quick lunch. The place needs some refurbishment. It is clearly focused on attracting the people from the tribunal. View all feedback.

The best pizza I’ve ever had! Friendly attentive service a taste of real Italy! We had Pizza Marinara and Pizza Siciliana with house white wine. Wonderful lunch!
A hot sunny lunchtime. Sitting outside and starting with a spritz the first course was a mixture of fried things to nibble. Not exciting but very pleasant. The pasta dished were excellent, especially one that featured a few mussels, lots of clams and some crayfish tails. Service was efficient and the waitresses were uniformly friendly, pretty and all very slim. I’m usually wary of fishy restaurants far from the coast but everything was extremely fresh and toothsome. Decent white wine completed a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. Well worth finding as it’s off the beaten track.
The staff of my hotel recommended Grotta Azzurra for Pizza and it was a good recommendation. I was early at 19:00 hours and the restaurant and I was the only guest at that time, so there was no problem to get a table. The service was very friendly, she spoke English and so there was no problem in communication (since I don't speak Italian), the menu was Italian and English. They have a lot of different pizzas, so everyone should find something. My pizza was thin and crusty, just excellent. They offer wine in a carafe, good and inexpensive.
